Grand Slam, one of the nostalgic posters from painter Janet Kruskamp. Evoking hot summer days in the heavy wool pinstripes, a batter cocks his bat over his left shoulder ready to swing for the fences. An almost sepia tone adds to the overall faded and aged look to this poster. A large baseball forms the background, now scuffed and worn, with the words American League across the ball. The phrase Grand Slam is curved in red over the top of the ball. A few white stars are scattered around the corners symbolizing All Stars of days gone by.
