Janet Kruskamp's Paintings - Blossom's Flower Shoppe. It's Valentine's Day at Blossom's Flower Shoppe and the shop is overflowing with bright red color everywhere. Red flowers, red balloons, Red stickers, red lolipops, red ribbon and red wrapping paper abound in the tiny shop. But the owner must have stepped out for a moment, there is no one in sight, even on the street and opposite shops visible through the window and open door. A wooden flower cart ouside the door holds containers of cut flowers and heart shaped balloons. The counter has a decorated tile sign with the name of the shop. A refrigerated case holds more flowers, most in beautiful floral arrangements. A hand written sign on the back of the register proclaims free balloon with each purchase. A blackboard on the wall advertises the Valentines Day Specials of one dozen red roses.
