South Seas Retreat, one of the new vintage travel posters series by artist Janet Kruskamp. This lush poster is framed by the palm trees at the top and sides and vegetation across the bottom. Two wooden Adirondak style chairs sharing a small table between overlook the sparkling blue water and white sandy beach below. A thatched hut whitewashed building sits at the end of the path curving up the bluff. A bright tropical drink complete with paper umbrella sits on the small table between the chairs. A beach umbrella peeks out from behind the rise overlooking the beach. The words SOUTH SEAS in the middle of the poster are made of light brown grasses, the S letters tied at the ends to keep them together. a rough straw hat on one of the chairs completes the idyllic tropical setting. This original painting is available from the artist, Janet Kruskamp.
